I just read a facebook post from the page a miracle for ava. Little five year old Ava Gioe lost her battle with brain cancer today. As expected her parents are heartbroken. I read the posts from her Mom and her Dad and my heart broke for them. Wyatt is five and I know how heartbroken and lost we would be without him. I idea of losing a child just takes my breath away. Before I had a child, I could not imagine the breathe and the depth of the love you have for them. Now I do and it is a little scary.

Does the wisdom of the world reside with mothers? You might think so, judging from this great photo of 13-year-old Joy, who has reared 16 sea otter pups during her time at the Aquarium!

Turkey Burgers with Cranberry-Peach Chutney
Enjoy the flavors of Thanksgiving all year long in this dressed-up turkey burger. Purchase ground turkey breast versus ground turkey—the white meat is much lower in calories and fat. Grilling the burgers…

One of my favorite shows-and of course it gets cancelled. It sucks to realize that you are starting to become obsolete in the eyes of the networks because you aren’t in that ‘key demographic.’
Funny thing is…we have more money than most 18-25 year olds to actually SPEND on the products that pay for advertising.
Oh, well, no matter. A wonderful show came to an end, and it went out with dignity and grace.
